About Predisan
Predisan’s name describes our purpose. “Predisan” comes from two Spanish words, “predicar” y “sanar”, meaning “to proclaim” and “to heal”. In Luke 9:2, Jesus sent out the apostles “to proclaim the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” We too are about “Proclaiming Jesus, Healing Lives”.Our Vision
As a Christian organization, our vision is wholeness: physical, spiritual, social, economic and environmental health according to God’s redemptive plan.THE PROBLEM
Men, women and children– families– are suffering from:
- Preventable disease, and lack of basic healthcare and nutrition
- Life without hope through faith in Christ
- A limited vision of the future, lack of education and economic opportunity
THE SOLUTION
To be Christ’s hands and feet, partnering with donors, volunteers, other institutions and communities to provide health services, education, spiritual development, and collaborative community development so that lives are transformed and empowered to work in God’s kingdom for mutual wellness.
As God works through us, we:
- Testify the gospel of Christ through teaching and service.
- Provide quality health care at an accessible cost.
- Provide rehabilitation for drug addicts and alcoholics, family counseling and drug prevention activities for youth.
- Develop community transformation by promoting the Healthy School Program, food security projects, water and sanitation initiatives, educational development, spiritual formation, and comprehensive health.
- Promote opportunities for missionary experience and volunteer service for visitors and future missionaries.
