Since 1988, we have helped thousands of people from Central America and the U.S. to overcome substance abuse through our residential and outpatient recovery programs.
Evidence-Based Treatment
CEREPA is trained and certified in the Clare|Matrix Model addiction treatment program. The Matrix Model is a structured, multi-component behavioral treatment model that consists of evidence-based practices, including relapse prevention, family therapy, group therapy, psycho-education, and self-help. Our staff of 20 collaborators delivers the program in a sequential and clinically coordinated manner.
Treating the Whole Person
Addressing our patients’ spiritual needs as part of their recovery process is a cornerstone to our approach. Our full-time chaplain leads individual and group sessions with our patients, as well as connects them with local churches, who provide an affirming and supportive social connection to patients, post-discharge.
More of Our Work
Predisan Christian Hospital
Begun in 1987 in a small classroom, the PCH has grown into a 24/7 medical center occupying almost 2.5 acres, and serving a population of 180,000.
At Predisan, we believe lasting community transformation starts with purpose-driven leaders. 🙌
We were honored to sponsor the Global Leadership Summit in Olancho, where leaders gathered to learn, grow, and be inspired to make a greater impact. Our team shared the mission of Predisan Christian Hospital and CEREPA while also investing in their own leadership development.
When we strengthen leaders, we strengthen families, improve patient care, and help transform entire communities. This is the kind of leadership we believe in, and the mission we are committed to every day. 🌱 #predisanchristianhospital#cerepa... See MoreSee Less
During Dr. Fisher’s visit to Honduras, pastors from our COMPAS Network joined staff from PCH and CEREPA for a powerful training on Advanced Crisis Management.
We were also honored to welcome our strategic partners, Family Life Mission and El Sembrador, for this impactful time of learning and collaboration.
🎉 Oscar Ovidio Alvarenga, 46, celebrates two years of sobriety, living one day at a time with deep gratitude to God. After years of struggle, his turning point came at CEREPA, where therapeutic and spiritual support helped him reconnect with his faith, restore his family, and transform his life. His story is a powerful reminder that hope can rebuild what once felt lost, and that recovery is possible. #cerepa... See MoreSee Less
