In 1986, Doris, her husband, the late Dr. Robert Clark, and her two teenaged children moved to Catacamas to teach basic medical practices in the name of Jesus. Doris has served at Predisan in many roles, including as executive director. In 2007, she retired and returned to the United States to become care minister for the Northlake church, Atlanta. Doris is a graduate of Harding University with degrees in art and English and heads the Predisan General Assembly, a body required by Honduran law, which is charged with ensuring that Predisan stays true to its mission. Her two children, Kendra and Robert, are physicians as are their spouses. Doris has five grandsons and one granddaughter.
