InternshipsEach summer, college interns travel to Catacamas to be of aid and service. In return, they gain valuable experience, a broader worldview and exposure to Christianity in action. Knowledge of Spanish is strongly recommended and is important to the work of interns. Interns not fluent in Spanish may need to hire a translator during their time in Honduras. The work of these volunteers has had a broad scope – medical personnel and evangelists serving for one, two or more years as short-term missionaries – college students serving for a summer or part of a summer as interns – and individual workers serving for days or weeks from a range of professions - physicians, nurses, engineers, laboratory technologists, builders, plumbers and others.
